"I’ve been truly blessed by very powerful and influential persons, however, unfortunately those same persons who helped me wanted something in return, as usual, and sometimes when you don’t do things their way, they try and block you or get rid of you or try and ruin your reputation, your esteem, and all you’ve worked for. Gratefully, my mother taught me that all true blessings come from God and what he has for you is for you. I have learned, early on nevertheless, the ill effects and the good of dating very powerful, ego-tripping men or just men who believe in that me, Tarzan, you Jane theology. I’ve been hurt, even scorned, but I’m made of good stock. I’ll be fine. It’s their lost."

Bella adds that the media publicity alone may be good for your image and status but it's a sure killer for relationships.  "There's no privacy.  How are you suppose to truly communicate how you feel when you're being watched all the time.  I take my relationships and committments very seriously and communication is key and I'm a very private person.  Without really being able to express yourselves freely it's virtually impossible to make any type of union work.  Celebrities have it worst because they are always in the public eye.  It took me awhile to decide whether or not this was the type of life I wanted.  Now I'm here and I don't have a choice.  I guess I'll just have to get used to it.  The fans have been great. Local support is getting better."

Bella started out early on in the music industry performing as D.J. for several rap groups and at various Music Conventions and was featured in a few music videos filmed during the late 80's. She then went on to perform with band 'Style' whose leading drummer went on to play as background for Michael Jackson for a brief period and hence her song writing career began. Though she hasn’t made it big yet with a huge selling hit, Bella admits her plate has been too full to even try, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. "I'm multi-talented so I often spread myself too thin.  But if I don't, I'll get bored with doing the same thing over and over.  God has truly blessed me.  I pray he allows me to live long enough to reach my goals.  He knows what they are."
